Appendix C: “Book of Us” Project Lesson Plan

  1. This was an extension of the “Book of Me” assignment, allowing students to share information from personal autobiographies, and then create a second “book” that celebrated their similarities and differences.
  2. The work here demonstrated elements of reciprocal teaching, differentiated instruction, and use of educational technology as a method to personalize and expand a lesson.
